The wait is over and the update is finally ready! Fork in the Road update brings tons of new features that will help new and veteran players reach a new level of power! This update features the Crossroads where you get to choose your path of high risk, high reward, or low risk, low reward. What you choose will affect the adventure ahead and make the world feel more unique than ever before. Character cards are here to add a fresh look to your main menu. Reforge will allow you to recycle some of those unwanted equipment for a chance at a better one. Tap to Attack is a new touch/click based way to attack which opens the door for diagonal attacks as well as so much more new and exciting quality of life features. We will highlight the main ones for this update, but rest assure, I will try not to overwhelm you.
New Crossroads System
Your adventure will make you grow even stronger based on your choices. There are over 20+ paths that will appear with more coming in future updates as we had to balance a lot through open beta. The left path will always be the lowest risk/reward while the right path will be the higher risk/reward most of the time. Once you choose a path, its effects happen right away and will usually last until the next fork in the road. Some paths can spawn things in the world while others will make enemies more challenging and also take effect throughout dungeons and Wicked Hours. Upon reaching the fork, you will receive the reward that the path gives and continue onward to your next path. Each character has a minimum of 7 path rewards that are uniquely tailored for their style of combat such as Archer having Haste, Stun and Armor for Warrior, etc. The table below will show you all the rewards you can get per character. Crossroads will start to appear after every 500 steps, but do incrementally grow up to 1000 steps as the max amount of distance between each other. You can also safely quick save at a Crossroad and it will re-appear up resuming adventure.

Character Card Shop
Character cards have been added to give more life to your character select screen! These cards will show how to unlock which can be by either prestige, unlocking the skin attached to the card, or reaching certain VIP levels. You can progress cards by equipping them to your character, then adventuring upwards with each step giving 1 xp (2 xp if you have double xp enabled). A notification will appear once you have reached a new card level. You can also spend Diamonds to level up the cards without the need to take the steps. There are up to 10 levels to unlock per card and June’s monthly skins will come with their respective card! If you want to remove the name/stats on the card currently, you will have to scroll down the right sidebar to Sort Cards and tap the arrow on top and bottom of the card to remove. Huge thanks to PollarGoal for creating all these cards and for being the one to present this idea which became reality!
June’s Monthly Skins
May’s open beta skins have extended to June to allow all players to be able to get these skins along with their respective cards at the normal monthly Diamond cost. Big thanks to alphareaper567, Corpo, and Lr.Valient for creating these amazing skins! July’s monthly skins will be part of an upcoming Archer Sprite Design Contest where you can submit your sprites for a chance to win lots of Diamonds and VIP Xp! All details will be shared on the official OneBit Discord sometime next week.
Reforge Equipment
Frank the Forger can now take 3 equipment and make it into a new 1. This feature allows you to recycle for better stats and will retain certain properties across the 3. It cost coins to use and will display what you can expect after selecting 3 equipment. This feature is only available through Frank the Forger which he can be rescued in the Underworld, but if you are level 20, Shintaro will bring Frank to your starting camp.
A* Pathfinding and Optimizations
The performance including the addition of A* pathfinding will ensure a smoother experience even on low end devices! I’ve ripped apart of lot of old code and replaced it with more efficient methods making it less CPU intensive. A* pathfinding will activate on pets/allies 100% while enemies will use them based on aggression and enemy type. Ghost will still feel not as different, but enemies like Goblins, Cyclops, and more so with aggro will be able to navigate around obstacles to get to you when possible.
Ascension Respec and Toggle
You can now Respec your ascension skills for 50 Diamonds. The best part is you will get a refund on all skills except Limit Break and More Capacity which will not reset upon Respec. Toggling your skills on/off is now possible for those that do need to avoid using certain skills. The button isn’t the tiny button, but rather the whole icon.
Star Chests For Double Loot
Star Chests are here to bring more loot to your adventure as well as major changes were made to guarantee more equipment from all chests. It will double all that it initially spawns with including Diamonds, items, and equipment. Claiming the loot will require you to watch an ad if you are below VIP 2, but you will be able to preview all the loot before claiming. These chests will spawn every 500 steps, but currently there is no Star Boss chest or Star Gold chest.
Moving Forward
This update was months in the making and also the longest open beta update! It has taken a toll on me so I will take a much needed break before moving onward to the next big update which will be Community Dungeon + Story Update. I will take my time on it as I need to rip out the old dialogue code and replace it with more efficient functions so expect months before this update releases. After Story update, I will work on 2nd tier professions for Archer and Thief which also means Enigma can finally get 2nd tier profession as well. Huge thanks to all those involved in open beta for finding all the game breaking bugs and translators for keeping new content up to date!

- Added Star Chests which gives double the loot for items and equipment. This spawns every 500 steps when possible, but requires an ad for VIP 0-1. Before you watch the ad though, you get to see what is inside the chest and make the decision by tapping the button to watch an ad.

- Increased Mob Farm max stat value from 5% -> 10%
- Increased Looting value per tier from 1% -> 2.5%

Im kinda impatient about the story since there is no real challenge in the game (just drinking healing potions all the time u no) (except in hardcore you basically just cant make a single mistake).
Will there be weekly sprints instead? Not just for the whole journey sending (which could last for months), but maybe something with just one life only per char?

The story will be made to give more purpose for your adventure and to have a good time learning about the lore of OneBit.
The only other type of sprint I’ve had in mind was speedrun Rankings. This would allow everyone to participate without spending months to get a high score as the score is time based for x amount of steps. Will see if I can get to it in the next update, but for sure, I will take my time on it.

Ahora que se puede seleccionar atacar a enemigos tocando encima de ellos me he dado cuenta que los tótem que potencian a los enemigos no se pueden atacar de dicha manera con arqueros y magos que atacan en rango , no sé si es un bug o así funcionan , pero ya que son a rango sería bueno poder destruirlos sin acercarse a ellos
Es que los tótems no son enemigos como tal, son objetos de ambientación como mismo los barriles o los minerales. Justo ese es su objetivo, si no, sería sobradamente sencillo luchar contra Cthulu y los enemigos del dungeon
